Your home is beautiful. We have moved many times and selling a home is stressful. If you are serious start packing and roll up all of your area rugs. Staged homes have less furniture in them to make the rooms look bigger. Every time we have put a house on the market my studio looked like a magazine cover. I packed 1/2 of my books and put all the extra fun stuff in boxes, in closets to the ceiling.
Hi Anonymous, So sorry to hear that you had to go through all that effort to sell your home. What a pain that must have been to stage everything like that. We have been really blessed in our real estate sales I guess and have not suffered stressful sales, purchases or moves. In the last 20 years we have had 10 real estate transactions and I have been able to work in my studio and ship work out to galleries each time right up until closing. I can't even imagine rolling up all your rugs and taking your furniture out while you lived there, what a discomfort that must have been for you. What a shame you had all that stress, I hope in the end it worked out well for you and that you are settled and happy now!
