The Universe whispered, "Create", and provided needle, cloth and thread. 

The Artist, once again, felt creative stirrings deep in her heart 

and she picked up her needle and stitched.

Macro Magic With Mushrooms and More

On my walk today I played around with my macro lens and it was so much fun! Macro photography opens up a whole new world. 

Combining Fiber Art & Forest With Photography

I have been so frustrated by the chronic fatigue and pain that comes with this Lyme induced autoimmune disease and how it keeps me from being able to create in the studio. I was really struggling over the last week and just dying to create something........anything!! I just wanted to create but I didn't even have the energy to go into my studio and paint a watercolor.  So I grabbed some cloth and some thread and did a little meditative stitching. Then Don asked me if I wanted to walk to the mailbox with him so I grabbed my camera and my little stitched pieces and combined two of my favorite things fiber art and walking in the forest.

Autumn in Vermont

On my walk this morning there were signs of Autumn everywhere.
