I made a felted wool bucket hat for Don and it came out really nice. I just used a pattern I got off the internet and my top loading washing machine and Don ended up with a lovely felted hat!
That is a size Q needle! It is made of bamboo and was very comfortable to use.

The hat was felted by running it through the washer on a hot cycle with a little laundry soap.
Now that looks a little better!
