After 12 years of battling the stealth pathogen Borrelia Burgdorferi, that causes Lyme disease, my CD57 test came back in the 40's (above 200 is normal). Yesterday my Doctor switched meds around again and told me to go on a 100% fresh organic juice fast. So while you are all stuffing yourselves with ham dinners and delightfully decorated sugar laden carbs, I will be sipping my carrot, ginger, apple juice, thank you very much. ;~)
On the other hand the symbolism of Easter, (crucifixion and resurrection), provides an amazing spiritual setting to undergo a fast in an effort to cleanse myself of this disease and emerge in perfect health.
