Rust and Eco Dyed Cloth

Here are the results from the bundles I posted in my last post. These bundles consisted of Silk, linen and cotton fabrics and they were scoured with soda ash, pre mordanted with alum, tannin (Birch bark tea), and vinegar. The bundles contained leaves and iron, one contained copper. They were steamed 2 hours. I will wait at least one week before rinsing them in water and baking soda to neutralize the rust.
